SAN-Gorgonio-Memorial-Hospital in California is seeking an RN for Med-Surg/Telemetry to coordinate and provide direct nursing care on the night shift. The role emphasizes patient and family teaching and leadership within the care team.

The ideal candidate holds an active California RN license with a nursing degree, BLS, and NIHSS, plus comfort with electronic health records and Word. Acute care experience is preferred.

Formación

• Current active California RN license and graduation from a school of nursing with diploma, associate degree, or advanced nursing degree.
• Current American Heart Association BLS provider card & NIHSSStroke Scale Certification required upon hire.
• Must be computer-literate (working knowledge of Word), familiarity with an electronic healthcare record system.
• Minimum of 1 year recent (within the last 18 months) acute care hospital experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates and provides direct nursing care for patients and teaches patients and their representatives.
• Provides leadership by working cooperatively with physicians, ancillary staff, and other members of the patient care team.
• Maintains standards for professional nursing practice and ensures patient safety on the Med-Surg Telemetry Unit.
