Job summary

American Advanced Management Inc. in Stockton, CA, is hiring a Union RN III for a 0.9 FTE, 12-hour shift.

The nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, lead the nursing team and ensure patients’ comfort, safety and personal care across units, subject to reasonable accommodations and safety procedures. Qualifications include California RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, NRP; PALS for Surgery & ED; BSN preferred; at least 12 months of relevant experience in the last three years.

Qualifications

• Education required to qualify for license as a registered nurse; BSN preferred.
• 12 months experience in last 3 years within the specialty area; clinical competencies.
• Must maintain national certification in medical-surgical or critical care nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients and families.
• Provide leadership and direction to the nursing care team to ensure safety and comfort.
• Work across Medical-Surgical, Orthopedic, Telemetry units; adhere to safety devices and PPE.
• Participate in Respiratory Protection Program, may wear a respirator.
