Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift on a medical floor (St James Hospital, Butte, MT). The role focuses on patient assessment, planning and coordination of care with an emphasis on safety and quality outcomes.

The RN will supervise LPNs and CNAs, participate in interdisciplinary rounds, and adhere to all hospital and regulatory guidelines. A BSN and Montana RN license are required by specified timelines, with a sign-on bonus possible up to $15,000.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited program required within 4 years.
• Current Montana RN license.
• BLS certification upon hire.
• Preferred: National Certification in area of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care using the nursing process.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively with patients and families.
