Location: Tuscaloosa, AL; Specialty: Med-Surg/Telemetry; Orientation is biweekly with 16 hours non-billable. Requires Alabama RN license or compact license and AHA/ARC BLS.

Qualifications

• Active Alabama RN license or compact license; temporary licenses are not accepted.
• AHA or ARC BLS certification.
• At least 2 years of RN experience preferred; 18 months may be considered if at least 1 year in the specialty.
• Must be fully committed to the full 13-week contract and required schedule.
• Must be willing to float between units and hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Provide Med-Surg/Telemetry nursing care on a 13-week assignment in Tuscaloosa, AL.
• Work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with 36 or 48 hours per week.
• Float between units and hospitals as needed.
• Manage patient load with typical 1:6 ratio and follow charting in Meditech.
