Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Nursing (or 2 years RN Med-Surg), has oncology chemotherapy experience, CA RN license, AHA BLS, and ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or 2 years RN Med-Surg experience.
• Oncology: chemotherapy experience.
• California RN license required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Professionals required.
• ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required.
• ONC or CMSRN certification preferred.
• CMSRN or CMSRN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, clean environment with infection control.
• Assess patients, develop care plans, administer meds and treatments.
• Coordinate with healthcare team, advocate for patients.
• Document care in the EHR per standards.
• Provide preceptorship and mentorship to new staff and students.
• Serve as Relief Charge Nurse when needed.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies (RRT).
