Job summary

AdventHealth in Tavars Florida is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse to join a dynamic acute care team. You will assess and implement patient-centered care plans, administer medications, educate families, and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

The position requires an RN license, BLS, and hospital experience; strong communication and critical thinking are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS certification required.
• 1+ acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Must be fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to use Windows-based programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, and social dimensions.
• Develop and revise individualized care plans based on standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with care teams to optimize patient outcomes and documentation.
• Maintain accurate medical records of interventions and outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication.
• Supervise and delegate nursing tasks as needed.
