Job summary

Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse to join Medical/Surgical units, including surge areas and inpatient admissions. New grads welcome. Night shift, approximately 36 hours per week.

The RN will perform nursing care using the nursing process with emphasis on assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. BLS within 6 months of hire is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in Medical/Surgical nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and educate patients and families.
