Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Marble Falls is hiring a Registered Nurse for our 30-bed Medical-Surgical unit. You will oversee patient care, perform assessments, develop care plans and ensure safe, high-quality outcomes across orthopedic, general surgery, urology, and geriatric patients.

The role supports a 1:5 RN ratio and 1:10 PCT ratio, with strong mentorship, UPC governance, and leadership support. 100% private rooms and growth opportunities are featured in Marble Falls, TX.

Qualifications

• Completed RN education and Texas nursing license.
• Grad of an Accredited Program.
• BLS certification or able to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs; create, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Build relationships and manage patient comfort while staying professional in therapeutic connections.
• Create care plans reflecting patient values to resolve issues.
• Educate patients, families, nurses and community members, and assess learning needs regularly.
• Delegate tasks carefully and follow up promptly to ensure safe care.
• Use problem-solving strategies with patients, families, and staff to ensure safety, effectiveness and efficiency in care planning.
