Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night Shift to deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The RN is responsible for patient assessment, planning and evaluation, delegating tasks and ensuring safety and comfort for patients and families.

The role requires NJ RN License, 0-1 years experience (2-4 preferred), and an Associate degree with a Bachelor’s preferred; location is on-site with competitive hourly pay and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

Associate degree required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
NJ RN License required per policy.

Responsibilities

Performs an assessment of the patient, leading to development, implementation and evaluation of a plan of care.
Administers, monitors and documents therapeutic interventions and regimes.
Participates in clinical decision-making.
Educates patient and family regarding disease process, care needs, wellness, safety issues.
Delegates and monitors care rendered by nursing staff.
Participates in orientation and development of healthcare team.
Identifies and participates in performance improvement activities.
Maintains professional competencies.
