Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Night Shift (12 Hr) on-site position in South Jersey. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, delegating tasks as appropriate within the nursing team.

Required NJ RN license; 0-1 years' experience preferred and 2-4 years acceptable. Hourly rate ranges with a comprehensive benefits package are provided for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required; NJ RN license.
• 0-1 years' experience required; 2-4 preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs an assessment of the patient, leading to development, implementation and evaluation of a plan of care.
• Administers, monitors and documents therapeutic interventions and regimes.
• Participates in clinical decision-making.
• Educates patient and family/responsible party regarding disease process, individual care needs, wellness, safety issues, etc.
• Delegates and monitors care rendered by other members of nursing department and healthcare team.
• Participates in orientation, education and development of healthcare team.
• Identifies and participates in the performance improvement activities.
• Maintains professional and departmental level competencies.
