Job summary

vTech Solution is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical/Surgical (MED/SURG) unit in Colorado. The RN will provide skilled nursing care, perform assessments, administer medications, develop care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Night shifts and a focus on patient safety are emphasized. Candidates must hold a Colorado RN license, with BLS, ACLS, and PALS required by hire or within 6 months; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Colorado.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience preferred.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• ACLS certification required upon hire or within 6 months.
• PALS certification required upon hire or within 6 months.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Respond to patient emergencies and provide critical care as needed.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
