Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift in Med Surg. The staff nurse delivers patient-centered care across the lifecycle, follows standard nursing processes, and works within organizational policies.

Collaboration with unit staff ensures safe, effective care and outcomes. Applicants must be a graduate of a nursing program, hold a Georgia RN or NLC/eNLC license with BLS certification, and be eligible for licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New Graduates eligible.
• Current Georgia RN or NLC/eNLC license; BLS certification required.
• For PRN: one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Advanced certification in specialty, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
• Demonstrate professional growth and accountability within organizational policies and procedures.
