Armor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time night shift (6p-6:30a) with alternating weekends in a correctional care setting in Erie, PA. You will provide holistic nursing care, perform assessments, document decisions, and implement physician orders.

Qualifications

• Must hold current state RN license.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Proficient with electronic medical records systems.
• Able to pass pre-employment Level 2 background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic RN nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.
• Assess physical, psychological, and social dimensions; document health history and admission assessment.
• Document and communicate triage decisions during custody and discharge.
• Develop individualized nursing care plans with providers.
• Implement medical care plans including diagnostic tests and EKGs per physician orders.
• Administer medications using proper techniques and routes; support dietary plans.
• Assist physicians in minor procedures as needed.
