Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking compassionate LVNs or RNs for Coronado Care Center in Portales, NM. The role offers 6PM-6AM shifts with part-time and full-time options and competitive wages. We will work with your schedule, aiming to help you make a difference when it counts in resident care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LVN or RN program in the state of practice or holds a multi state license.
• Prefer two years of experience in long-term care but will work with new grads.
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care.
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team.
• Records the administration of medication or any change in patient condition.
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed.
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies.
• Performs other duties as directed.
