Job summary

John Knox Village of Central Florida is seeking a vigilant RN or LPN for full-time night shifts (3pm-11pm & 11pm-7am) to provide professional nursing care, administer medications, and supervise CNA staff. The role emphasizes resident safety, adherence to policy, and timely documentation of changes in condition.

Strong communication and English proficiency are essential. Responsibilities include supporting admissions/discharges, conducting assessments, and participating in ongoing education

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Florida nursing license.
• Must pass Level 2 background screening.
• Must be CPR certified.
• English reading/writing proficient.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per physician orders and plan of care to ensure resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments per standards of practice, including infection control.
• Supervise CNA staff to ensure policy adherence and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee CNA assignments and ensure timely completion of duties.
• Assist residents/family with concerns and manage grievances.
• Assist with admissions/discharges and conduct assessments as needed.
• Observe changes in resident condition and notify physician as required.
• Document changes and incidents in the medical record.
