Job summary

The Carriages of Bloomington is seeking a compassionate RN/LPN for a night shift (6p-6a) to deliver high-quality, holistic nursing care. You will supervise licensed and non-professional staff in direct resident care, with a focus on Memory Care and respectful support for independence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a licensed nurse.
• Ability to undertake diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with assisted living procedures.
• Understanding of confidentiality and nursing best practices.
• Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology.

Responsibilities

• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.
• Observe patients under treatment to identify progress and side-effects of medications.
• Assist patients in daily activities such as eating and bathing.
• Administer injections and prescribed medications.
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
• Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice and comfort.
