Job summary

The Carriages of Bloomington is growing our TEAM and we are looking for exceptional individuals to fill our Night RN/LPN position (6p-6a). We take pride in providing our Residents with quality care, sensitivity, and kindness while respecting their independence.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide high-quality, holistic nursing care in accordance with nursing practice of professional nursing. You will lead licensed and non-professional staff in the delivery of direct resident care

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse with proven experience.
• Ability to work with memory care patients in a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with assisted living procedures and confidentiality.
• Excellent knowledge of medical terminology and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Point Click Care.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Compassionate and able to handle stress.

Responsibilities

• Take and record measurements (BP, temp, HR, etc).
• Observe patients to identify progress and medication effects.
• Assist patients with daily activities (eating, bathing).
• Administer injections and prescribed medications.
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
• Communicate with patients' family and friends to offer advice and comfort.
