Job summary

Cedar County Memorial Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Night Shift LPN or RN to provide skilled nursing care across inpatient units and the Emergency Department. The role emphasizes safe, high-quality care and collaboration with providers during overnight hours.

Qualified candidates hold a Missouri license (LPN or RN) and have at least 2 years of hospital or ED experience, with strong assessment and documentation skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri LPN or RN license, unencumbered.
• Minimum two years hospital/ED/clinic nursing experience preferred.
• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in electronic medical records and accurate documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per orders, standards, and policies.
• Monitor patient vitals, assessments, intake/output, and documentation.
• Administer medications and wound care as ordered.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to providers and staff.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and emergencies.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient safety during night shift.
• Document care and outcomes in the EMR and ensure handoffs.
• Support in inpatient units and ED as census requires.
