Job summary

Derby Health and Rehab in Derby, KS is seeking a compassionate RN or LPN for full-time night shifts (6 p.m. – 6 a.m.) to deliver high-quality patient care in a supportive setting.

Must hold an active RN or LPN license, with experience in acute care and EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to facility policies while providing excellent resident care.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Experience in acute care settings (hospital, ICU/ER, long-term care) is desirable.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner; Athenahealth familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history documentation using EHRs.
• Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and other treatments per protocols.
• Monitor patients and detect signs of deterioration requiring intervention.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and facility policies.
• Provide care for patients with dementia or memory care needs and those requiring ventilator support or tube feeding.
