Job summary

SanStone Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Staff Nurse to join our team of dedicated health care professionals. Applicants must hold an unrestricted RN or LPN license and valid CPR certification, with shift differentials and a sign-on bonus of $8000.

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the RN and/or LPN will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, supervise CNAs, coordinate medications, and implement physician orders with compassion.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted RN or LPN license.
• Valid CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the care/services provided by CNAs and other staff.
• Coordinate nursing care of residents on the unit and ensure staff competency.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to residents.
• Transcribe and coordinate physician orders.
• Perform nursing assessments and notify physicians of status changes.
• Develop and implement a care plan based on assessments.
• Institute nursing interventions to stabilize conditions and prevent complications.
• Contribute to resident assessments (MDS/CAA) and care plan development.
