Job summary

Rock Creek Care Center in Auburn, CA is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Night Shift (NOC). You will supervise the nursing team, coordinate daily care, monitor residents, and collaborate with physicians to uphold high-quality, resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current and in good standing RN license in California.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the nursing team during the shift to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Oversee and coordinate daily nursing activities in accordance with facility policies and state/federal regulations.
• Monitor residents’ conditions, provide direct nursing care, and respond to changes in status.
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, and families to ensure individualized care plans are followed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and charting in line with professional standards.
• Mentor CNAs and LVNs, fostering a positive, collaborative team culture.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance throughout the shift.
