Night shift differential

Job summary

PIH Health in Downey, CA, is seeking a registered nurse for night shifts. You will provide direct nursing care including assessment, care planning, patient education and evaluation for assigned patients. You will coordinate care delivery with the broader care team to maintain smooth patient flow.

Requirements include a California RN license, current BLS, and ongoing education. Prior acute care experience is preferred and a 7.00 shift differential applies.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license.
• Evidence of continuing education.
• Prior experience in an acute care facility or formal classroom education.
• Current Basic Life Support Card.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care including assessment, plan of care, education and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Performs patient duties to maintain flow of care and coordinates delivery of care by other team members.
