Job summary

FMOLHS is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse 2 for the Labor & Delivery department in Jackson, MS. This full-time position requires coordination and delivery of patient care, working every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with an increase in hourly pay for WOW roles.

The ideal applicant must have a year of RN experience, a valid Mississippi State license, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Current Mississippi State license as RN needed.
• Must be willing to rotate shifts and work area.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient care using a team approach.
• Provides the best possible nursing care planning and directing nursing functions.
• Maintains compliance with hospital standards and procedures.

Skills

Ability to recognize patients' individual needs

Good oral and written communication skills

Ability to function in stressful situations

Current certification in CPR

Education

Associate Degree from an accredited school of nursing
