Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is seeking a PRN Tier 2 Labor & Delivery registered nurse for night shift coverage in Mansfield, Texas. The RN provides high-quality care through the nursing process, supports patient and family education, and collaborates with an experienced obstetric team.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, BLS, Texas RN license or eligibility, and a minimum of 1 year L&D experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• Minimum 1 year L&D RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment using communication and teamwork.
• Assumes responsibility for nursing components of patient/family education.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff; ensures accurate documentation.
• Administers medications and IVs safely and timely.
