Qualifications

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in maternity and newborn care settings.
• Monitor fetal status and interpret results; communicate changes to physicians.
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and participate in care planning.
• Educate patients and families about newborn care, feeding, and self-care.
• Coordinate care with physicians and hospital staff in labor/delivery and nursery.
• Maintain documentation per policy and standards; ensure equipment safety.
