Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as an RN in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS/CPR.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage patient care, including delegation to and supervision of other members of the patient care team.
• Basic computer skills; prior EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients, assisting with assessments, examinations and treatments.
• Administer medications under provider direction according to policy and procedures.
• Assist in emergency situations under the direction of the provider.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, diagnoses and care plans.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
• Support accountability for care provided by other licensed and unlicensed staff where appropriate.
