Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care to patients during the 7 PM to 7 AM shift. The role requires completing care per physician orders and adhering to established guidelines and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold an unrestricted Georgia RN license, and be BLS certified. BSN degree preferred with potential for additional life support credentials.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two years of experience as an RN preferred.
• Additional Life Support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP) or other clinical certifications may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients according to physician orders and guidelines.
• Adheres to the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
