Job summary

HiredFirst in California is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery on a 13-week contract. The role covers night shifts (12-hour) with 36-48 hours weekly, floating to NICU and Postpartum as needed.

You will provide L&D care, assist with deliveries, coordinate care, educate patients and families, and supervise staff. Requirements include an active RN license, BLS/CPR, ACLS, NRP, FHM, and BSN preferred. Vaccinations expected.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (state of practice) required.
• BLS/CPR (AHA or ARC) required.
• ACLS (AHA or ARC) required.
• NRP (AHA or ARC) required.
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide L&D care; assess, plan, implement, evaluate (mother & fetus/FHM).
• Assist with deliveries/C-sections; support neonatal stabilization.
• Coordinate care, delegate, and supervise staff.
• Collaborate with team; educate patients/families; support discharge.
