Job summary

Providence Swedish First Hill is seeking an RN for Labor and Delivery on the NIGHT SHIFT to provide exceptional patient care in a high-volume unit. A $15,000 hiring bonus is offered for eligible external candidates, in addition to benefits starting on day one.

The role involves coordinating care across services, maintaining standards, and supporting a safe, compassionate birth experience for patients and families. WA RN license and BLS/NRP upon hire are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• WA RN license upon hire.
• BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
• NRP – American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
• 1 year nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure provision of 24/7 patient care in Labor and Delivery.
• Establish and enforce standards of patient care and nursing practice.
• Develop and monitor unit-based quality improvement programs.
• Coach, develop, evaluate and advocate for staff across shifts.
• Support ethical and cultural considerations and patient advocacy.
