Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health Round Rock – Round Rock Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit. The role supports patient assessment, care planning, and execution during the night shift (6:45pm–7:15am) in a 26-bed unit with acuity-specific ratios.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the care team, educating patients and families, and adhering to the Texas Nursing Practice Act. Benefits and professional development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program.
• Specialized field of study should be nursing.
• RN license.
• Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
• Create, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members to empower them with healthcare knowledge.
• Delegate tasks carefully and follow up promptly.
• Contribute to peers' development and participate in team-based care.
