Job summary

Corewell Health in Troy, MI is seeking an RN for the Inpatient Rehab Unit (7W) on a part-time night shift (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.). The 25-bed unit features a multidisciplinary team and a strong commitment to patient-centered care and quality outcomes.

The RN must hold an Associate and ideally a Bachelor's in Nursing within 5 years, be MI-licensed, and have BLS certification. The role emphasizes teamwork with physicians, therapists, and care managers to ensure safe discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• Bachelors in Nursing required within 5 years.
• Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years in a licensed health care role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) required.

Responsibilities

• The RN, under the ANA scope of practice utilizes the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care and discharge planning with patient/family input.
• Documents education and learning appropriately in health record.
