Job summary

Methodist Southwest Medical Center in Dallas area is seeking a Registered Nurse to render highly professional nursing care to assigned patients. You will use the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, and you will supervise other team members while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide age-appropriate care.

The role requires a nursing degree, BLS certification and Texas RN licensure with at least 6 months of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate).
• Direct and supervise other assigned team members.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide age/developmentally appropriate care.
• Communicate clearly and openly with patients, families and staff.
