Job summary

SSM Health's Monroe Clinic Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols. You will work the night shift and contribute to a collaborative inpatient team to deliver safe, high-quality care.

The role requires completing a nursing program, current RN license, BLS, and the ability to advocate for patients and families while using evidence-based practice to plan care and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Uses standards of medical-surgical nursing practice to improve quality of care and quality of life for patients and families.
• Establishes advocacy relationships with patients and families to tailor care plans.
• Applies nursing process to develop and evaluate plans of care and patient outcomes.
• Educates patients and families about health maintenance and comfort measures.
• Collaborates with inter-professional team to plan, implement and evaluate care.
