Job summary

Exeter Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, invites experienced nurses to join our Night shift team in the Progressive Care Unit. We offer 12-hour shifts, 1:3 patient ratio, and a nurse-friendly environment that supports professional growth and collaborative rounds.

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, you will provide professional nursing care, coordinate with disciplines, mentor new staff, and participate in evidence-based practice. NH license required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in NH or any compact state.
• BCLS certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire preferred.
• BSN strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care within assigned unit.
• Coordinate care planning with other disciplines.
• Mentor new employees and support education.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and documentation.
• Ensure safe medication administration and IV therapy.
• Participate in hand-offs and interdisciplinary rounds.
• Contribute to evidence-based practice and policy development.
• Educate patients and families as needed.
