Job summary

AdventHealth Denver seeks a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a hospital setting. You will assess patients, implement and revise care plans, administer medications, monitor responses, and educate families.

This full-time night shift requires RN license and BLS; ADN is required, BSN preferred. Collaborate with the care team, document accurately, and participate in continuous performance improvement. This role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess physiological, psychological, developmental and social factors of patients
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families
• Supervise and delegate care to team members
• Engage in continuous professional development and performance improvement activities
• Respond to code situations promptly and effectively
