Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 7:00 PM–7:30 AM shift. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and rapidly communicate changes in patient status.

Responsibilities include use of the nursing process and delivering age-appropriate care. A CT nursing license and certifications (BLS/ACLS) are required or obtained during orientation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with CT licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire or within orientation period.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Possess basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality direct and indirect patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate patient conditions promptly, accurately, and to the appropriate team members.
• Provide age-appropriate care and demonstrate knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan.
