Job summary

Texas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the IMC Department in Cleburne, TX. This part-time night position offers 24 hours per week with weekend and holiday coverage.

You will provide compassionate care using the Nursing Process, performing assessments, planning care, and implementing interventions with ACLS/BCLS/CPI certifications. Growth opportunities exist in a fast-paced, supportive unit.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing.
• BCLS required prior to independent patient care and updated quarterly.
• ACLS within 90 days of hire; CPI within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients using the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient and plans the care.
• Intervenes and evaluates effectiveness of interventions.
• Implements age-specific safety and infection-control measures.
• Facilitates information needs of patients and families.
• Ensures continuity of care during shifts and transfers.
