Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks a Registered Nurse II to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process in a fast-paced PACU setting.

Under general supervision, you will deliver safe, effective care, collaborate with the health care team, and support families and patients toward optimal outcomes, nights and weekend coverage as needed. Minimum one year of RN experience; BSN preferred; SC or compact licensure; BLS required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred; RN with Associate/Diploma must enroll in BSN within two years and complete within four years of hire.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse.
• Active RN licensure in South Carolina or compact state; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe and effective care and collaborate with the health care team to achieve results.
• Work 36 hours per week on 3–12 hour night shifts with occasional weekend call.
