Job summary

Atrium Health Cabarrus is seeking a registered nurse for Night Shift: three 12-hour shifts per week in the IU Post Surgical Care unit. Prior RN experience is not required; BLS is required, with Licensure in good standing. Graduate of an approved nursing program; BSN preferred. Expect policies on safety, unit guidelines, and possible float to other units as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• No formal RN experience required.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with multi-state compact and/or single-state privileges.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Engage patients and families from admission to post-discharge.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs.
• Uphold safety standards and ethical practice.
