Job summary

Pen Bay Hospital, part of MaineHealth, seeks a Registered Nurse I (New Graduates Welcome) for night shift on the Medical/Surgical Unit. This full-time 36 hours/week position includes a sign-on bonus and opportunities to grow clinically in a fast-paced, collaborative setting serving patients across the lifespan.

Qualified candidates hold an RN license, BLS, and BSN is preferred. ACLS/PALS within one year for critical care areas and NRP within one year for OB/NICU are required by department

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license; BLS certification required, ACLS/PALS within one year for ICU/SCU/ED/PACU; NRP within one year for OB/NICU.
• One year of RN experience preferred.
• Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care on a Medical/Surgical Unit.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
