Job summary

Gulfside Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking an RN to cover hospice field duties in Florida, reporting to the Clinical Care Manager. The role includes supervising LPNs and CNAs, case managing patient needs, and educating families to maximize comfort and quality of life in the community.

The position offers a Monday–Thursday night shift (11pm–9am) with a lucrative shift differential and a $2,000 sign‑on bonus. A Florida RN license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed in the State of Florida as a registered nurse.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience in a hospital, home health or hospice setting preferred.
• Strong ethical standards and an appropriate professional demeanor.
• Sound critical thinking, time management, technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment.
• Well-organized and self-directed; a team player.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid Florida driver’s license with proof in file.

Responsibilities

• Case manages the needs of patients and families in the field.
• Performs ongoing assessment of physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs and initiates intervention.
• Oversees supervision of LPNs and CNAs and other staff in the field.
• Maintains positive working relationships with team members across disciplines.
• Attends to patient/family complaints and concerns and educates the community about hospice care.
