Job summary

AdventHealth in Winter Park, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift. You will assess patients comprehensively, create and revise care plans, administer meds, educate families, and coordinate with the medical team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Eligibility includes RN license and BLS, with a salary range of $31.85–$52.76 hourly, plus a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for eligible candidates. Benefits start Day One and supportive professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• BLS certification required
• English fluent in reading, speaking and writing

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
