You will collaborate with the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.

The role involves night shifts with weekend rotation and a focus on education, patient-centered communication, and HIPAA compliance while supporting peers and contributing to a culture of excellence

Qualifications

• Current IL nursing license is required; BSN preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery or acute care experience preferred.
• Strong communication, assessment, and patient education skills; ability to collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, collect health data, and communicate care plans with patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families tailored to cultural backgrounds and learning styles, including disease management and emergency procedures.
• Support professional development of peers, participate in performance improvement and research activities, and contribute to a positive clinical environment.
• Assist with injections, venipuncture, IV management; monitor wound, ostomy, and skin care treatments when skilled.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and assist in patient transportation as needed.
