Sidney Regional Medical Center in Sidney, Nebraska, is seeking a passionate and caring part-time night shift Registered Nurse to join our Pole Creek Estates Long-Term Care team. Responsibilities include providing prescribed medical treatment and personal care, assessing and planning resident care, and coordinating with families and physicians to ensure safety

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Registered Nurse nursing program.
• Nebraska RN license.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to residents in Long-Term Care.
• Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate resident care using the nursing process.
• Perform complete admission assessment and home med reconciliation for residents.
• Collect, evaluate, and prioritize resident data across physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, and discharge needs.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and health team for continuity of care.
• Maintain documentation reflecting the plan of care.
• Collaborate with health team for resident condition and outcomes.
• Promote patient safety in all responsibilities.
• Develop care plans involving patient/family and healthcare team.
• Provide education to patient, family, staff, and students as indicated.
• Supervise other healthcare team members per requirements.
• Assist in quality indicators and discharge planning services.

Education

Registered Nurse license (Nebraska)
