Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.

The RN will manage care for an assigned group of patients, coordinating with the care team to ensure safety and quality outcomes. The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Georgia RN licensure, and BLS certification; BSN and additional certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing.
• Must hold Basic Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two years of RN experience preferred.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP or other clinical certifications encouraged.
• Visual color acuity depending on role.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and guidelines.
• Manages care for an assigned group of patients.
• Adheres to hospital policies and nursing practice standards.
• Operates unit-based patient care technologies and information systems.
• Acts as preceptor for new employees and students.
• Engages in quality improvement activities and infection control procedures.
