Job summary

Backus Hospital's Resource Center RNs provide comprehensive inpatient care across patient populations. You will join a float pool, collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality nursing care during night shifts and weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• One (1) year recent acute RN experience.
• Current unrestricted State of CT Registered Nurse license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for Critical Care track.
• Ability to obtain and maintain department specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide care as part of the Resource Center Float Pool, delivering high-quality nursing care across patient populations.
• Demonstrate collaboration, flexibility and communication to support patient and family needs.
