Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System's Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach seeks an RN for a per diem night float pool. You will join a collaborative, high-quality team delivering world-class care using state-of-the-art technology.

In this PRN role, you will work nights 7:00 pm to 7:30 am across diverse units, providing direct patient care, implementing care plans, and educating patients and families. The position offers growth opportunities within a respected health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• One year of current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting OR licensed military RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
