Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.
• Telehealth/virtual care licensure in the client location state(s) if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care using evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with patient and family involvement.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and maintains patient safety standards.
• Evaluates outcomes and takes action to optimize patient and team results.
• May administer medications and therapies according to protocols; ensure accurate documentation.
