Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Float Pool on the Night shift. This full-time position requires providing high-quality patient care across multiple units as part of a dedicated resource team.

Ideal candidates have a nursing credential, a high school diploma or GED, and up to one year of relevant experience; a 4-year degree is preferred. Current RN licensure in the applicable state is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required; a 4 Year / Bachelors Degree is preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; if RN license inactive, refresher course required for reinstatement.
• One year of relevant nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state required.

Responsibilities

• Float Pool RNs provide continuous quality patient care in multiple settings.
• RN is part of a resource team assigned to varying units during shifts to meet patient care needs.
• RNs may work in several clinical areas; part of Patient Care Services with three RN teams: Team 1 (ICC U), Team 2 (Inpatient Acute), Team 3 (Adult ICU).
