Job summary

Lotus Village Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation in North Carolina is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time night shift (6:30 PM – 6:30 AM). You will provide resident-centered care, collaborate with the healthcare team, and support post-surgical and medical patients.

You’ll administer medications, monitor equipment, educate patients, and contribute to discharge planning while working in a supportive, team-oriented environment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license
• Current CPR certification
• Current First Aid certification
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Compassionate, team-oriented demeanor

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Prepare and administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and document accurately; report adverse reactions per policy.
• Provide bedside care for a wide range of medical patients, including pre- and post-surgical cases.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment; interpret and record electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action promptly when a patient displays adverse symptoms.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs as needed.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures and ongoing care.
• Record all medical information, vital signs, and care notes concisely and on time.
• Participate actively in discharge planning.
